On Monday, June 1, we will reopen to the public. Please read the following announcement to ensure the health and safety of the community and our employees. Our Convenience Bank Lobby will also be open, however customers are encouraged to continue to use our drive through services. We thank you for your patience and the opportunity to continue to provide you with quality customer service!

 

Enter by Escalator: Our Main Bank Lobby is only accessible by escalator access.

 

Mask Up: Keep yourselves and our employees safe. Masks will be provided for you upon arrival.

 

Bank Alone: Please arrive unaccompanied by children or non-essential parties to your transaction.

 

Maintain Social Distance: Our floor decals and germ shields are for our employees and your health and wellness.

 

Stay Home: If you are ill, feel ill, or have been exposed to someone who is ill, bank with us from home by using our mobile or voice banking applications.

While COVID-19 (coronavirus) has disturbed our daily patterns of living and interacting within our communities, First State Bank remains committed to the health and safety of our customers and employees. A dedicated team of bank officers continue to monitor the situation closely and adjust our business practices to meet the demands of these ever-evolving circumstances.
To adapt to the changing circumstances, First State Bank and Trust Company will operate under the following guidelines effective Thursday, March 19:
  1. While our drive- thru lanes at our Convenience Bank are fully operational, our Main Bank and Convenience Bank lobbies will be closed to public traffic. Accessibility inside the bank will only be possible with a scheduled appointment. Please call (903) 693-6606 to schedule an appointment to meet with a Loan Officer, New Accounts Representative, Safety Deposit Box Representative, or CD/IRA Officer.
  2. Appointments will only be available between the hours of 8:30 until 2:30, Monday through Friday.
  3. Please do not make an appointment if you or someone in your household has experienced or is currently experiencing flu-like or viral symptoms.
If you should visit us for a scheduled appointment, here are some practices we have enacted for your safety and that of our employees:
                -Workspace and public areas including lobbies, teller windows, elevators, and stairwells are sanitized every two hours.
                -Our tellers have been equipped with latex gloves when assisting customers and completing transactions.
                -A pandemic plan is in place should present circumstances intensify to ensure the safety of our customers while continuing quality services for customers.
We highly recommend usage of our online banking systems, mobile app, mobile deposit, voice banking, and our SMART ATM as these are all options which do not involve interpersonal exchanges. Customer services representatives are also available to answer any questions you may have via telephone.
It is our goal to give our customers quality service in these uncertain times. Should the current climate shift, updates about potential adjustments in schedules and on site operations will be made available to the public as they occur. Thank you for your patience and loyalty to our institution. We remain steadfast in our concern and care for the wellness of our friends inside and outside of Panola County.
