Due to several customer inquiries regarding declined checks, we contacted TeleCheck and discovered that a local merchant has entered incorrect personal information for numerous customers which resulted in negative account records within TeleCheck. If a merchant using TeleCheck’s services declines to accept your check, they should provide a receipt with a contact phone number and a reason code. You must contact TeleCheck directly to resolve this issue. Your initial call to TeleCheck will be routed to an overseas call center.
